Sleepy Hollow Ditch Improvements

This project will install approximately 1,820 feet of new storm sewer with the goal of addressing flooding issues associated with overflow from the Sleepy Hollow Ditch, located between Donovan Drive and Randy Drive, west of Horns Hill Road. This is a project funded jointly by the State Capital Improvements Program, Newark Township, and the City of Newark.

Bid opening occurred on August 2, 2019; however, no contractor bids were received.

The City has decided to advertise the removal of the trees as a separate project, and bids for that will open on November 1, 2019. Removal of the trees is expected to occur by the end of the year (2019).
