What do taxpayers of Newark deserve from their Income Tax Office - easy preparation and filing of taxes, easy access to forms and information, and easy methods of payment. We are working hard to meet these expectations. Our website, forms and online services have been redesigned to simplify your tax filing needs. I encourage you to start with the Guide to Links below to see what is new within the Newark Income Tax Office.

This easy to use online program allows you to view your account with the tax office. You can see your payment and filing history, account balance and much more. Setting up access is a breeze and you can create your own password and PIN - no need to change it every year.
Online filing will be available in 2012 for taxpayers that have W-2 income. We anticipate the online e-Filing will be available in mid-January. This is the first phase in our on-going e-Filing program. We will continue to make improvements and make online filing available to more taxpayers for 2013.
Did you know that you can pay your tax balances online with an electronic check or credit card? Paymentus is a service similar to VeriSign that, for a fee, allows you to make a payment on your Newark Tax Account. This 24/7 service accepts MasterCard, Visa, and Discover.
Employers - Do you use the Ohio Business Gateway to file and pay your State and School Withholding Taxes? Did you know you can also pay your Newark City Tax through the OBG website?

We are excited to announce that most of our forms have been redesigned or are in the process of being redesigned. Most are available in both a printable pdf and Excel format. We are still working on this project so additional forms/formats are still coming. Check the website for these updates!
